About Kehau Kali
Kehau Kali is the Hawaii State President of IBI Global Hawaii, an income acceleration, entrepreneurial training, and business networking organization. IBI is a community service organization whose mission is to empower the human spirit to superior performance and intent through mastering Free Enterprise Skills unavailable from conventional education programs.
Locally, Ms. Kali conducts community events about taking a business from concept to market, capital acquisition, execution, high performance team development and communication mastery skills. Ms. Kali also is the President and Founder of Ho`ike Enterprises, LLC, which specializes in early-mid stage entrepreneurial ventures and provides strategic consulting services that include planning, development and execution of plans for achieving profitable corporate vision through marketing, product development, appropriate organizational structure and leadership/key personnel teams. Areas of expertise include applying sustainable entrepreneurship models and creating ‘money magnets' to attract and attain capital necessary for growth.
Ms. Kali was born and raised in Honolulu, received her Bachelor's in Arts from the University of California at Santa Barbara and her Master's in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley. For the past fifteen years, she has held leadership positions with companies both in Hawaii and on the Mainland, serving the local, national and international communities while working in banking/financial services, health care, economic development and community development. After leading a diverse team of managers (with banking, customer service, operations, insurance, product development, marketing and branding expertise), overseeing eight national business operations and consulting with banking/financial institutions nationally and internationally for Visa USA, she moved back home to Hawaii in 1998.
Locally, she led marketing, sales and fund development teams for the YMCA of Honolulu, Hospice Hawaii, Inc. and the YWCA of O`ahu. In each organization, she created and managed successful teams of marketing, sales, e-marketing, event management and fund development experts, creating productive and fun environments with quantifiable results. She has taught entrepreneurship and has first-hand knowledge and experience with successful advocacy and creating new laws and regulations in the Hawaii State Legislature. She has managed between $250,000 to $35 million in business operations and raised more than $5 million over five years from individuals, government and private sources. An active community volunteer, she also serves on many philanthropic boards and volunteers with numerous community organizations, including athletic, scholarship, business and community service endeavors. |
