About Andy Andrus

Inventor-Tow Truck in a Box

Mr. Andrus was born in Paris, Tennessee into a Marine Corps family. In his early teens, he left home to pursue a music career, with which he had a great deal of success. He played with some great musicians: Billy Preston, John Bassette, Greg Douglass(from the Steve Miller Band) Greg Elmore (Quicksilver Messenger Service), John Lee Hooker Jr, Little John Christley, as well as others.

He left show business to mange the second largest disco on the East Coast--15 Lansdowne Street in Boston. Later he moved to San Francisco, and founded the Attainable Treasures Jewelry Company. He sold that business and opened The San Francisco Music Works, a live music nightclub, which was later bought by the BGP group. From there, he owned and operated the Selecta Auto Body Chain in the Bay Area.

Presently, he founded Porter Prescott, Inc. to market his invention TOW TRUCK IN A BOX. His attendance at IBI's Class 304 helped to launch his current success.   Through IBI, he raised $1.7 million, obtained manufacturing, developed some of his most important distribution connections, and is now "in business." Last winter he tested his infomercial and got some very good numbers. In June 2006, Mr. Andrus attended INPEX Invention Convention in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at which he received numerous awards, and came in 2nd runner up for the entire convention.

Tow Truck in a Box is poised for worldwide launch.
